Michael J. Malkiewicz has been a member of Barros McNamara Malkiewicz & Taylor, P.A., since 1986.
He is a Vietnam veteran, honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1971.

Mike graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law in South Bend, Indiana, and is a United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. As a former Deputy Attorney General with the Delaware Department of Justice, he had the responsibility and experience of numerous trials prosecuting criminals, and also being the legal representative for several State agencies. During his legal career, Mike has prosecuted and defended individuals charged with criminal offenses from murder to simple harassment.
Mike has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, a co-chair of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association Legislative Committee, a member of the American Association for Justice, and a member of the Interstate Trucking Litigation Section of the American Association for Justice. He has practiced in every Court in the State of Delaware and the Delaware Federal District Court, and has represented numerous clients before most of Delaware’s State agencies and the governing body of every County in Delaware. Mike has experience representing victims of accidents and medical malpractice in wrongful death and personal injury claims where there have been significant awards.
Mike believes in compassion for his clients and improving his competence to represent them at all stages in the legal process. Mike regularly receives continuing education through the Delaware Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and numerous other legal education programs, including programs taught by leading and cutting edge educators such as David Ball and Don Keenan at his REPTILE seminar series.
