Lazzeri Esq.JJL@firststatelawyers.com Primary Practice Area: Workers Compensation Jay is a lifetime resident of Kent County, Delaware, having graduated from Smyrna High School (1969), Swarthmore College (1973) and Villanova Law School(1976). He is a past President of the Kent County Bar Association and a past Vice President of the Delaware State Bar Association. Jay specializes in workers compensation law and personal injury law. He is a frequent guest lecturer for the Delaware State Bar Association. Each year the Delaware State Bar Association sponsors an all day continuing legal education seminar focusing on workers compensation law. In recent years, Jay has been a featured speaker at many of these seminars including: 2007 DSBA Seminar - moderator 2006 DSBA Seminar - moderator 2005 DSBA Seminar - moderator 2004 DSBA Seminar - co-moderator and speaker on successive worker’s compensation carrier liability. 2003 DSBA Seminar - speaker on permanency and disfigurement Jay is a specialist in third-party liability cases where a worker is injured during the course of his or her employment by a third-party other than their employer. Jay also has over 30 years experience in representing individuals involved in auto accidents. |
